The Bibio is a favourite with competitive anglers who swear by it, when all else fails. The fly could even be used for trout on spate streams, it's that versatile. Though principally for brown trout, Bibios are also useful for sea trout in darker peat stained water. Trout will often slash at the Bibio just before you lift off to recast, so be prepared!
